Hey pals, we're back ! WOW, it's been like about 3 months since our last post!!
Time sure flies.
Oh anyway, nothing much happened during these 3 months.. other than chasing birds out of the window(they seem very very interested in dogs kibbles,).. hmm & eating rabbits' poo.. going for walks.. sleeping.. eating.. playing wrestle.. WELL, that's about it ! Nothing interesting tt happened.


Mommy did mentioned though, that she might b going with her friends to ASD (Action for Singapore Dogs) to do some voluntary work after her final year exams. Maybe then, we'll have many many photos of cute little doggies! But, we'll see how things go, thr might b some changes.


OH RIGHT. Yup, there ARE indeed things t share.


Ever seen a shaved japanese spitz?! And i really mean, SHAVED.
SHE LOOKS HILARIOUS. She practically didn't even looked like a dog! Nt even a chinese-crested dog. hehes.


OKAY, this wasn't supposed to happen! Mommy's mom was trying to figure out the new shaver they had bought for us because Miko was shedding. Mommy's mom was impatient and didn't wait for mommy to get home !! She decided to went ahead with it and TADA. She had forgotten to place the different lengths onto the shaver and Miko got shaved to the skin. They thought it would b weird if they suddenly changed it to another length so they just went ahead to shave off everything!!
(They learned their lesson.They promised Miko never to do that againnn..)





Anyway, her hair had grown back now and she's all puffy again.
This was just taken last week during our night walk.

& another tragic event. Miko is food aggressive and would growl at anyone who goes near her food.
(Mommy: I'm not sure if Angel was trying to protect us or actually thinks that Miko was trying to steal her food. Because whenever Miko make loud growls, Angel would sacrifice her food and run towards Miko & make loud barks and growls at her. They would bare their teeth at one another and we'll have to pull Angel away)
On a particular night, we were as usual having our dinner and Miko started growling when Aunty Paw accidentally brushed against her tail while she was eating. I started barking at Miko and attempted to attack her. Mommy quickly pulled us apart. And in the middle of all that thrust, I unintentionally bit mommy's thigh in confusion. Mommy didn't blamed me though, for she knew that I wasn't an aggressive shih tzu. It must've hurt because it turned into a blue-black the nxt day.

(Anyway she's fine now hehe.)

The weather's been pretty unpredictable these few days in Singapore.
So, what else can we do, but sleep ? :'(

It's either superrrr hot or heavy downpours. We could only go out at night whn the weather is dry.

The rabbits & my sister(Miko) have had their respective surgeries and are in great shapes now :D The best thing we wished for is for mommy to get v bored !

& there ! We got some cookies :D Mommy baked the cookies for us and gave some to share with her friends who own doogies .

Yikes! The sound of thunder! Yup, this sister of mine, unfortunately, has a phobia of thunder! (Just look at her eat with her tail down) :x

Not for me though. Rain or shine, nothing can stop me from sleeeeping !!^^

HELLO GUYS ! Sorry for neglecting our blog for quite a few months!
[Blame it on mommy^^]

Anyway, I'm Miko, finally have a chance to post !! That sister of mine(Angel) has been pretty annoying ever since she recovered from her surgery! Let's see.. She had been zooming all around d house whn she touches water & I cant stand it! I have tried to attack her while she was running at times but got intercepted by mommy :( Oooh ! And out for walks, I think she has some problems with her  legs cuz she just cant seem to walk straight! She keeps banging into me! Oh & of cuz, I, have to show her who's boss by giving her some pretty fierce growls.

Mommy always ask me, "Why you do always pick on Angel!?!?" . Well that's becos I met several different sizes of doggies & no matter what they do, even if its slamming into me, I would still wag my tail at them. I guess my sister & I have no affinity :]

We just went for a short walk to the playground as mommy went along with Aunty Paw to fetch mommy's bro. Well.. she pretty much lets us tag along. I mean since we're naughty girls at home. We have to let off some steam! Don't you guys agree? :D

[Bad News] {The humans say its MIKO'S fault:(! }
Mommy don't think so though. She says I'm just too playful ^^
It all started when I tried to play with Zacky(rabbit).
I bit the fur on his head & wouldn't let go till the humans rushed over :x
And then he must've been shocked or smthing cuz he wouldn't eat the nxt few days. Brought him to d vet & the vet said it was some GI statis or something? Like Gastro-intestinal problem due to stress & caused d system to slow down/stop. The stress here.. is actually.. pretty obvious... :/ The vet gave him a jab which consists of fluids to help his system get going again.

All seems well.. Until the lump which was supposed to go down a few days later, swell up (See the above picture). It was d fluid that the vet injected. So he was brought to the vet today again & mommy hasn't gotten any news yet. But it seems ok. When mommy's sis is back from tuition then we shall question her :)

Oh & Jelly(the other rabbit) is getting more dominant & territorial. Well, actually both are. Sooo.. unfortunately, the humans think it's time to.. cut off his nuts :( mayb both of the rabbits' nuts but still nt too sure. They're currently separated into different cages.

ANDDD I heard d humans whispering among themselves that i'll be going for sterilization on 19 MARCH!!!! This is super super bad news for me!!

& d other bad news is that mommy is going for her sec3 adventure camp next week so we have to say byebye for 3 days :'(

Okok! Last post! I know i'm very long-winded ! BEAR WITH ME!

Uhmmm.. Mommy's mom (let's just call her mommy2) spotted around 5 fat, juicy, green caterpillars growing on her orange tree!! Now how nice would a plant without leaves be ? So they decided to pluck them out & keep them in a container since it would be sad to destroy their lives.

Few weeks later... Look what we got!

This is how it looks from d back of d wings. See inside the container? 2 emerged from their cocoons, 2 probably escaped as their cocoons were open but empty. And d last 1 is d baby we found & is currently still inside it's cocoon! Those things on d container wall are their cocoons. We released them d next day :)




Okay let's end this post with a few sketches of us! (It is definitely NOT, i repeat, NOT done by mommy. If it was, I guess we would look like some weird-looking aliens from Mars!) It was done using mommy's phone. Pretty interesting application so we wanna share it with you guys!

Angel's home :D

Alright guys ! Look who's home !

Of course ! It's our little Angel :)

The day after the surgery, all was well until the vet suddenly called. Uh-oh. We knew it wasn't good news. But luckily, it wasn't tooo bad. It was just that the vet told us that Angel was refusing all the different kinds of food when they tried to tempt her & so the vet told us to bring Angel her fav food.

We brought banana, treats & her dinner. Well, she would only have a few sticks of her treat. She was so happy to see us. By then, she was already wide awake. The vet said that Angel was a different dog. All the dogs there would eat their food but only Angel wouldn't. The vet also said that Angel would not give them kisses when they opened her cage. She was worried about Angel being nt active and told us she would like Angel to stay in the hospital till Sunday instead. However, she changed her mind when she saw Angel with us. Hahha . She was wriggling like a worm :D

Remember I once told you guys about the way Angel loves sticking out her tongue ?
yep, the vet asked us if Angel always stick out her tongue like that. They even tried to push her tongue back in but it would just roll out again. ^^

She is home last night with her E collar and she doesn't seem to mind it being put on. When I bring her E collar towards her to put it on for her, she would come towards me and let me put it on. O.o weird.

Thanks all for helping :) Angel managed to pull thru the surgery ^^  Her whole uterus was removed and that also means that she is sterilized :D

However, the vet is afraid that some pus might already have diffused thru the uterus and into the abdomen.
So they will need to put her on stronger antibiotic to push the pus out via her vulva.

Her liver case will need to be cured too. An untrasound or another blood test might be needed. We went to visit her yesterday. She was still a little unconscious after her surgery but she still tried to stood up on the table and walked slowly to us. She was in such agony but still wagged her tail when she saw us. Dogs are really men's best friends :)

Last night, it was critical. It all depends on how strong her will is. If anything happens, the vet said she would call us. Fortunately, we received no calls from the vet ^^ This morning we called over to check on Angel, the vet said Angel was awake but still not active and not eating. They still have to monitor her but her condition is currently stable :D

Oh, and Miko is currently enjoying her carefree life without Angel xD hehe. Well, she is one dog who gets jealous easily. Always growl at Angel when Angel comes running to us.

We'll be visiting Angel tonight again after my tuition. I'll bring back some pictures of her too :D If all is well, she should be able to be discharged by Saturday. Can't wait to have her running to me again ^^                  

Bad news..

Hey guys, Angel's mommy here.

Angel is currently very very sick... She'll be operated at 6.30pm and tht is only around 20 minutes away..

On Sunday, she refused to eat her breakfast or dinner. She even rejected her favourite treats and banana.
Then I remembered that it was time for her to have her deworming medicine. After she ate it, we were hoping that she would eat her meals the next day. However, she did not. We tried to urge her to eat, but she was reluctant. We thought that she would be alright the next day so we watched her closely.

Unfortunately, the same thing happened. Not only this, she became very very lethargic, not like her usual self. She felt hot all over. We then knew that something is not right. We brought her to the vet the next day as we were busy on that Tuesday. "Edmund Tan (ET) animal clinic" was the usual vet we go to but it happened to be closed on Wednesday. Hence, we went to "Mount Pleasant Animal Clinic" since it was just beside ET vet.

Dr. Fong, the vet who administered to Angel, said that she was feverish and that she feels a lump in Angel's womb. She determined that it was womb infection. She said that other than surgery, we can try medicine which might help to push out the pus in her uterus.

We went home after she had two jabs and fed her medicated food & medicines(at night) prescribed by the vet. She got very sick in the night and today, Thursday, she had a high fever. We decided we had no choice as the medicine was not working. We brought her to "James Tan Animal Hospital" and it was a must-to-do surgery. Otherwise, she might die.

The vet took an X-Ray and it was confirmed womb infection. Her uterus were filled with pus. It was totally infected. The surgery would remove her uterus and would also mean she is spayed. We decided to put her thru the op.

At 5+, the vet called. It was bad news. After taking a blood test for Angel, the vet said she had low count of red blood cells and high count of white blood cells. Not only that, her liver had some problem they couldn't determine yet and that poses an amount of risk to her op + her fever. She said... there might be a 20-30% chance that Angel might not pull thru the surgery..

I'm really sad right now .. Whenever i think of her leaving me, I would just burst into tears..I need Angel.. I'm praying really hard for her.. Please all help too.. Help to pray that she will be able to come out of the operating theater alive.....

Hey guys! Good news ! Angel & Miko are getting along fine now :D
Miko no longer growls at Angel & Angel is nt fearful of Miko anymore ! ^o^
Now they play almost the whole day, turning the house upside down !
They both love playing wrestle (ok, maybe only Angel. Miko still tries to hump her but Angel doesn't mind ! P.S she humps Miko too sometimes but I guess her legs are too short xD) & of cos, chasing one another allllllll over the house like nobody's business ! It's a joy to see them play together :)

Last Sunday, we brought them over to East Coast Beach :D
Hmm.. it seems like Miko doesn't exactly love the sand as much as Angel do..
Still ! Miko enjoys her walk !
Saw many dogs there too, but didn't manage to take any photos becos we nvr got up close. There was this couple leashing a red & white siberian husky and carrying a baby husky which look sooooooooo cute ! We saw another black & white husky too. & two brown labs, a maltese, a schnauzer and a silky terrier who came to greet Angel & Miko .
Silly Angel pooped twice before we even reached the beach ! Lucky Miko didn't poop, otherwise we might nt have enough newspapers xP
